Mahendera Singh Dhoni
A normal person named Mahendera Singh Dhoni who helps his father in taking care of the family by working as a train ticket examiner in the Indian Railway, but his dream was something else. His dream was to be an Indian cricketer.
His father was not very fond of his son’s growing interest in cricket as he believes there is no future in sports. However Dhoni was very clear about what he wanted for himself. He believes in himself and was very confident about chasing his dream. He gave importance to his dream over his studies.
He worked as a ticket collector in Indian Railway to make fund and to fulfill his dream, he was very consistent and hardworking, he played his role as a ticket collector half heartedly as his all heart at his games. While managing his job, Dhoni continued to playing tournaments as well. He had to manage both the aspect of his life but he hardly ever complained about his situation.
He played several matches but it didn’t worked out like it was planned by him. It was a very hard moment for him as he had worked so hard for his games, but this failure didn’t let his spirit down as he become more determinate and worked much harder for the later tournaments.
The very next match was his shot . He was selected for the Pakistan series. He scored very well in that match and became the most known face of the Indian cricket team, after that there was no looking back. The future was waiting for him . His immense talent gained recognition and he led the Indian team to the ICC World Twenty 20 Trophy in South Africa. Team India successfully won the Trophy by defeating the Pakistani Team.
And the achievements goes on .
Even after achieving so many success in his life people knew him as a calm, cool and composed person . It must be because as he seen the world getting harder and that aggression does not lead to rational decisions.
MS Dhoni has set an example as we shouldn’t give up on our dreams, failures and successes are a part of life.
