CANCELLATION, RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
This cancellation, return and refund Policy (“Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy”), together with the Terms of Use sets out Hapell’s procedures and policies in accepting:
Order cancellations before the Item(s) is dispatched to a User in case of Direct Sale; or
Item returns, once an Item has been delivered to a User from Hapell.

Any return or cancellation of Item(s) by Users shall be governed by and subject to the terms and conditions set out under this Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy. Users are required to read and understand the terms of this Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy. If you do not agree to the terms contained in this Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy, you are advised not to accept the Terms of Use.
The terms contained in this Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy shall be accepted without modification and you agree to be bound by the terms contained herein by Registering on Hapell for participating in Auction, purchasing an item through direct sale or returning an Item in case of Donation received through Spinning Wheel Draw on or through this Website. This Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy may be updated from time to time without any notification.
PROCESS TO REQUEST A RETURN AND REFUND
Order cancellations before the Item(s) is dispatched to a User in case of Direct Sale:
1.A User can initiate a request for cancellation of order only in case of direct sale from Hapell website, prior to its dispatch.
2.Prior to the dispatch of the purchased Item in direct sale, if the User decide to cancel the purchase, the User can do so by referencing the Order number received by the User and requesting Hapell to process a cancellation by sending an email to info@hapell.com.
Item returns (Direct Sale/Auction/Donation):
1.On the success of a bid in Auction and a successful payment or on successful order placement in case of direct sale, Seller/Hapell shall hand over the Lot/Item to its logistic partner and the User will receive a tracking number, which will enable the User in tracking the status of delivery of the Item.
2.Return request can only be initiated on the following basis:
- Any defect not mentioned in the description of the item in the Spin Wheel Draw/Direct Sale,
- Lot/item received is different than the Lot/item bid for in auction/purchased in direct sale,
- Lot/item is received after an unreasonable delay without explanation except for the case covered under Force Majeure, wherein the Hapell has sole discretion to decide as to what constitutes the unreasonable delay.
3.In case of Spin Wheel Draw/ Direct Sale, replacement on the grounds of the delivered item being defective, un-compatible or unsuitable shall be allowed on the submission of proof to the satisfaction of Hapell. Spin Wheel Draw winner in such case can request for replacement within 15 days of receipt of the item, by writing to Hapell on info@hapell.com.
In cases the User wishes to return the items subject to clause 1 and 2, they shall do so by sending an email at info@hapell.com. In no case a return would be allowed without prior information from the User through email and the acceptance of the same by Hapell subject to Clause 1 and 2.
REFUND
In all events of cancellation prior to the dispatch of the purchased Item, Hapell shall initiate refunds within 7 (Seven) business days from the date on which it received the request from the User.
In cases of return request for Lot purchased in Auction or return of item purchased through direct sale, a refund shall be issued subject to clause 1, 2 and 3, within 15 days subject to clause 8.
In case of acceptance of refund request, the refund will reflect in the User’s bank account within such reasonable time (subject to the policies of the User’s bank in case of bank account/credit card refunds) from the date on which Hapell initiates the refund. All refunds shall be subject to applicable charges as may be deducted by the User’s bank. Hapell shall not be responsible for any delay in such refund caused due to the User’s Bank.
In case of donation a replacement item shall be dispatched within 15 (Fifteen) days of receipt of such item and confirmation of the same being liable for replacement by Hapell.
RETURN PICK-UPS AND PROCESSING OF FUND
On confirmation of return request Hapell shall arrange for the pick-up of the item through its logistics partner. If the reason of return as stated by the User is confirmed to the satisfaction of the Hapell, Hapell shall bear the cost of return pick-up. However, in case of rejection of such reason Hapell shall deduct such reasonable pick-up fee from the refund amount as required.
GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL
Any grievances relating to the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy may be directed by you to the grievance officer of Hapell who can be contacted at info@hapell.com.
